Dots and Boxes – Online Strategy Game
Play Dots and Boxes against the computer or a friend on the same device. Connect dots, complete squares, and claim more boxes than your opponent to win. Each completed box fills with your color and an animated star.
How to Play Dots and Boxes
- Click or tap a dot, then select a neighboring dot to draw a horizontal or vertical line.
- Complete the fourth side of a box to claim it and earn a point.
- When you complete a box, you get another turn.
- Keep playing until all the boxes are filled. The player with the most boxes wins!
Choose 2 Players to play with a friend, or Vs Computer to play on your own. Select New Game to start again.
Dots and Boxes Strategy
Think ahead before drawing a line. Adding the third side of a box can give your opponent an easy point. Watch for connected boxes—a single opening can let one player claim several boxes in a row.
Learning Through Play
Dots and Boxes gives children opportunities to practice planning, spatial reasoning, counting, and comparing scores. Use it for a classroom strategy challenge, a partner activity, or a quick brain break at home.
