Race through the maze, dodge ghosts, and turn collected dots into points! Math Man is a free online place value game that combines arcade action with counting by tens and ones.
How to Play
Click or tap a spot in the maze, or use the arrow keys to move. Collect as many dots as you can while avoiding the ghosts. Grab a large power dot to turn the ghosts blue and eat them before the power wears off!
When a ghost catches you—or you clear the maze—your collected dots rearrange into rows of ten. Count the full rows by tens, then add the leftover ones. Choose the correct total to add that number to your score. An incorrect answer reveals the correct total without adding points.
Practice Place Value with Tens and Ones
Math Man helps children connect counting with place value by organizing the dots they collect into groups of ten and individual ones. For example, two full rows and three extra dots make 23: two tens and three ones. Play to practice skip counting by tens, counting on by ones, and finding the total.
