Let’s explore numbers! Count, perform operations, make fractions, compare numbers, and more with our online number tiles tool.
This tool allows teachers and students to work with numbers in countless ways. To use the number tiles, click, drag, and drop the colored number tiles and operations tiles onto the blank board. Turn the board into a chart using the “sides” and “t-chart” buttons. You can also create fractions using the “fraction” and “fractions” buttons. Write your own notes on the board with the pencil tool and erase them with the eraser tool. Clear the board using the trash can button.
The sky’s the limit with this helpful tool. Students can work on their own, or you can project the number tiles tool onto your smartboard. Here are some ideas:
- Solve math operations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division.
- Use the “sides” tool to create a chart. On the left-hand side, write a number. On the right-hand side, list the factors of the number.
- Use the “t-chart” button to create an addition chart or multiplication chart.
- Find equivalent fractions using the “fractions” button.
