Times Table
Times Table
Multiplication, here we come! This interactive times table is perfect for 3rd-graders (or others) who are in the midst of memorizing their multiplication facts.
How does it work?
Simply drag the numbers to answer each multiplication problem. When you complete a full table correctly, a check mark will appear on the number buttons at the top. To try a new table, click another number button.
Working through the times tables in this way will help students memorize important multiplication facts. Plus, working on one complete times table can help students see patterns. For example, when working through the 4 times table, students will see that each answer is 4 more than the previous answer.
Working with an interactive multiplication table is also a great way to reinforce concepts such as skip counting or repeated addition.
As an extra activity, you could even ask students to make their own physical times table. Students can use a piece of paper for the equations and small squares of paper for the answers. Then, students can check their answers using the interactive times table!
