Multiplication Chart
Use this free interactive multiplication chart to explore multiplication facts, times tables, and number patterns. Select any number on the chart to highlight the product and its factors and see the multiplication equation. Students can use the chart to practice multiplication facts, discover patterns, and check their work.
How to Use the Multiplication Chart
Choose a color on the left side of the chart, then select a product. The product and its corresponding factors are automatically highlighted, and the multiplication equation appears at the bottom of the chart. Select additional products to explore patterns in the multiplication table. Use different colors to compare patterns, or select the trash can to clear the chart and start again.
Explore Multiplication Patterns
The chart makes it easy to see patterns in multiplication facts and demonstrate the commutative property of multiplication. For example, 4 × 5 = 20 and 5 × 4 = 20. Highlight related facts to show that changing the order of the factors does not change the product.
Use the interactive multiplication chart for whole-class demonstrations, independent practice, or as a quick way for students to check multiplication facts.
