Bridge and Flashlight Puzzle
Can you help five children cross the bridge before the flashlight runs out? Each child walks at a different speed, and the flashlight has only 30 minutes of power. Plan each trip carefully to get everyone safely across in time!
How to Play
Select one or two children to cross the bridge. When two children travel together, they move at the speed of the slower child. Someone must carry the flashlight on every trip, including trips back across the bridge.
Choose the children you want to move, then press the Cross button. Watch the timer and flashlight power as you plan your next move.
The 30-Minute Challenge
The children take 1, 3, 6, 8, and 12 minutes to cross. Your goal is to get all five children to the other side in 30 minutes or less. Can you discover the correct sequence?
